Day 4
Discovering Nagasaki's History: Day 5
We went to the Nagasaki Hypocenter Park and got a very informative tour, featuring many statues and a brief glimpse of the inside of the Uragami Cathedral. Afterwards we went to the memorial sight for Dr. Nagai Takeshi, a famous doctor who spent most of his time helping those effected by the atomic bomb.

Hibakusha's (A-Bomb Survivor) Testimony: Day 6
We went to the Hibakusha Community Center, and heard A-bomb survivor Ms. Shizuko Mitamura testimony in the
style of a
kamishibai story. It was very insightful and she was very energetic dispite all the trauma she has seen. She signed a couple of our
notebooks.
Afterwards we had an art workshop with Mr. Shinichiro Matsuo.
It was very fun and lot of our pieces were well liked by Mr. Shinichiro Matsuo and are going to be displayed back home at IUI.
